Michnar Hills - मिचनार की पहाड़ी

We all are aware of places like chitrakot , tirathghar , kotomsar gufa , etc tourist places near Capital of bastar known as Jagdalpur. But their is another one lessor known but not less in advanture .  Michnar is located near jagdalpur . location code or village code of Michnar village is 449214. Michnar village is located in Lohandiguda Tehsil of Bastar district in Chhattisgarh, India. It is situated 20km away from sub-district headquarter Lohandiguda and 50km away from district headquarter Jagdalpur.


Michnar has a total population of 2,409 peoples. There are about 629 houses in Michnar village. Jagdalpur is nearest City to Michnar which is approximately 50km away


- we have to Go Jagdalpur to  Raikot and then from Raikot to michnar .

- the total length of michnar hills is near by 37-45 km ( correct data is not available ).

- At the top of hill their is a cave . where local dhurva tribe and other villager worship goddess ' Bagh-Raur' . we can also see a Shiv ling at bagh - Raur Cave .


- The greatest attraction of site is advantures tracking side by side the hill to the top of hill . 

- If we see the interesting fact about the name Bagh Raor . Word Bagh refers to the tiger and the word Raur refers to cave . That means Bagh route is the cave of tigers .

Their is chances of getting Mineral deposit Ore's in the region , But it need proper research of the Agencies .
